Refund & Returns Policy
At Keen Functional Nutrition, we strive to ensure every client has a positive experience with our programs, services, and products. Because many of our offerings are digital, personalized, or service-based, please review the following policy carefully.
Overview
Our refund and return policy lasts 30 days for eligible physical products only. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a full refund or exchange.
To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
Please note: Personalized services, consultations, and digital products (such as downloadable guides, nutrition programs, or online courses) are non-refundable once delivered or accessed.
Non-returnable items
- Gift cards
- Downloadable digital products or programs
- Completed consultations or coaching sessions
- Health and personal care items that have been opened or used
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If your refund is approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card statement. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at katie@keenfn.com.
Sale items
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items and discounted programs cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. To request an exchange, please email katie@keenfn.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Instructions for returning the item will be provided via email.
Shipping returns
To return a physical product, please contact us first at katie@keenfn.com to obtain a return authorization and the appropriate mailing address.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund.
Service Cancellation Policy
We understand that schedules and circumstances can change. Keen Functional Nutrition aims to be as flexible as possible while maintaining respect for our practitioners’ time and other clients waiting for appointments.
Consultations and Appointments
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
Programs and Packages
Multi-session programs or packages (such as nutrition coaching series or functional nutrition programs) are billed in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise arranged. Because these programs are customized and time-reserved in advance, refunds are not typically offered once the program begins. However, we will always review individual situations with care and fairness.
Digital Products and Resources
Due to the instant-access nature of digital materials such as eBooks, meal plans, and online course modules, all digital product sales are final. If you experience a technical issue accessing your materials, please contact us immediately at katie@keenfn.com for assistance.
Emergencies or Exceptions
We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations happen. If you need to cancel due to illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances, please reach out as soon as possible — we’ll do our best to accommodate and reschedule without penalty.
